Run a worker
Contribute compute to the Autarcho decentralized inference network. Workers serve GGUF text models and earn USDC on Solana mainnet for verified work. No account, invite, or gateway-side allowlist step is required.
Requirements
- x86_64 Linux host
- Docker Engine with Compose v2, plus curl and jq for the installer
- 16 GB RAM baseline, 20+ GB free disk for the model cache
- Outbound TCP 443 and TCP 4001 only — no inbound ports, no public IP needed
- GPU workers additionally: NVIDIA driver + nvidia-container-toolkit
Quickstart (CPU)
mkdir -p autarcho-worker && cd autarcho-worker
curl -fsSLO https://autarcho.com/workers/docker-compose.yml
curl -fsSLO https://autarcho.com/workers/docker-compose.gpu.yml
curl -fsSLO https://autarcho.com/workers/install.sh
chmod +x install.sh
./install.sh --wallet <SOLANA_PUBKEY>
docker compose pull
docker compose up -d
docker compose logs -f node
Public gateway: https://api.autarcho.com.
Current release: 0.1.0. The installer displays the EULA and
records your acceptance in .env; unattended installs can pass
--accept-eula.
GPU workers
Pass the compute capability for your NVIDIA GPU. The 0.1.0 public set
includes the CPU image and the CUDA 75 image; the matrix below lists the full
set. Install with --gpu --compute-cap 75, then start with both
compose files layered:
./install.sh --wallet <SOLANA_PUBKEY> --gpu --compute-cap 75
docker compose -f docker-compose.yml -f docker-compose.gpu.yml up -d
| Compute cap | Architecture | Typical GPUs | Image tag | Published |
|---|---|---|---|---|
75 | Turing | GTX 16xx, RTX 20xx | ghcr.io/czeti/node:0.1.0-cuda75 | yes |
80 | Ampere | A100 | ghcr.io/czeti/node:0.1.0-cuda80 | no |
86 | Ampere | RTX 30xx | ghcr.io/czeti/node:0.1.0-cuda86 | no |
89 | Ada | RTX 40xx | ghcr.io/czeti/node:0.1.0-cuda89 | no |
90 | Hopper | H100 | ghcr.io/czeti/node:0.1.0-cuda90 | no |
The table shows which tags are in the 0.1.0 public set. Check your GPU with
nvidia-smi --query-gpu=compute_cap --format=csv,noheader. If your
GPU's tag is not in the set, or the NVIDIA stack is not working on the host,
run the CPU image; CPU workers are fully supported.
Payouts
Verified work is paid in USDC on Solana mainnet to the wallet configured via
WORKER_SOLANA_WALLET. The current split is 80% worker / 20% treasury;
new worker token accounts may be subject to a 2 USDC minimum payout
threshold, with smaller balances carried into the next batch. Payouts depend on
verified work and network configuration; there is no fixed payout schedule.
You are responsible for your wallet, keys, taxes, and legal obligations.

Keep TAG=0.1.0 pinned — never latest.
Update with docker compose pull && docker compose up -d.
Back up the worker data volume: it holds the libp2p identity, and losing it
changes your worker's PeerId.
